Excerpt: The Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) released the results of the comprehensive revision of the annual estimates of gross state product (GSP) on December 15, 2004. The results included prototype estimates for current-dollar GSP for 2003, which were released less than 12 months after the end of the year, an acceleration of 6 months.
